Transformational Education Services, Inc. (TES) is a newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in June 2024 by Rubbie Groves-Clay, a seasoned real estate broker and community advocate with over 33 years of professional experience. TES was created to close critical educational gaps and empower underserved communities through adult education, tutoring, career development, financial literacy, mentorship, and computer training.
Our flagship initiative, Get A Hold Of Your Darn Finances (GAHOYDF), equips youth and adults with culturally relevant financial education and tools to break cycles of generational poverty and build pathways toward stability and success.
TES is committed to providing comprehensive, practical, and accessible learning opportunities that improve financial literacy, career readiness, and personal development for both youth and adults across St. Louis.

Dear Friends, Supporters, and Community Members,
Hello, my name is Rubbie Groves-Clay. I am the Founder and President of Transformational Education Services Inc., a non-profit organization. I am honored to lead our mission of empowering, educating, and supporting both youth and adults as they navigate life’s challenges and opportunities. At TES, we believe that when individuals have access to education and financial literacy, communities thrive. Through programs in literacy, GED attainment, financial literacy, tutoring, mentorship, and career development, we provide the guidance, resources, and encouragement needed for individuals to achieve academic success, financial stability, and personal growth.
Our work is designed to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to reach their goals. Whether through personalized tutoring, interactive financial workshops, mentorship opportunities, or career development initiatives, every program focuses on preparing learners to succeed and thrive. The heart of our mission is connection—ensuring no one faces challenges alone—and we encourage everyone to explore our programs, engage with our community, and discover ways to get involved as a mentor, volunteer, donor, or advocate.
I bring to this mission over 33 years of real estate experience as Broker of Clay Realty Group, combined with 35+ years in property management and expertise as a licensed Missouri insurance agent in Life, Health, Property, and Casualty insurance. My passion for helping others inspired me to write “GET A HOLD OF YOUR DARN FINANCES… Not Only Can You Buy A House, But You Can Buy Whatever You Want…” and to create TES to address the financial and educational gaps that hold many back from achieving their dreams.
Through my work, I focus on empowering individuals to achieve financial freedom by teaching the importance of budgeting, building wealth, making smart investments, opening businesses, sending children to college, and leaving a lasting legacy. My goal is to help as many people as possible break free from financial struggles, gain confidence, and create a life of abundance, security, and impact. Every initiative at TES is designed to inspire learners to become confident, capable, and prepared for the future.
